What our guests say

Exciting perspectives from those who have experienced the Digital Campus

Digital Campus covers a wide range of topics related to digitalization and now also AI, more than just topics related to the app. Ideas and confirmation that AI is important. The presentations are particularly inspiring, especially today's on AI, with the various ideas that were presented, which we also have at our university, but which also exist elsewhere and where they are already further along.

The DC is extremely important for ensuring that we continue to exchange ideas on the topic of digitalization. And I definitely take away with me that I was able to network really well with other universities and companies, that you can easily engage in dialogue and take away great ideas for further development at our university. We were particularly interested in taking a closer look at the digital booking system. But we were also especially interested in talking to other universities, seeing how things are going for them, what further developments they have already made, and how they use the UniNow app for their students, employees, and other roles. And we are simply delighted about the mutual exchange.

I believe it is important for universities to network, to be able to exchange ideas and share exciting new concepts with colleagues. Just take a look around to see what others are doing. My colleague always tells me when I go to conferences that I shouldn't bring too many ideas home with me, because someone has to implement them. I'm afraid it will be the same again, that I'll have some ideas that I'll bring back to the university and that we'll hopefully be able to implement little by little.

I think it's always interesting to look beyond your own horizons. You always come away with fresh ideas and meet lots of colleagues with whom you might be able to collaborate again on a specific issue. It's a great get-together event.

The DC25 is quite important because otherwise it would be difficult for us to get in touch with other universities from other federal states. Other federal states have different administrations, different structures, and may simply approach things in a completely different way. That's why it's really interesting to get to know them and to have this UniNow intersection. It's quite helpful, and no other event offers this. It's there to connect universities with each other, in some cases to think together about what would be best, how UniNow could be further developed, for example, or where there are simply commonalities and common problems that could perhaps be solved.
