“We are teaching checkouts how to see.” This is the mission of auvisus, a startup from Karlsruhe. Every year, people in Europe spend over 165 million hours waiting to pay for their lunch. The visioncheckout by auvisus cuts this time by more than a factor of ten. To achieve this, auvisus uses AI-based food recognition that reliably detects all available items and menus. The camera of the visioncheckout quickly, flexibly, and precisely identifies every dish and automatically posts it to the POS system. Scan. Pay. Enjoy.
