UniNow Pay is seamlessly integrated into the digital student ID within the UniNow app. Identification and payment are handled through one and the same medium: students simply scan the QR code on their ID and are simultaneously verified and ready to pay. This reduces media breaks, speeds up check-in in the cafeteria, and enables fully digital processes – from identification and price group assignment (e.g. students/staff/guests) through to settlement. If desired, UniNow Pay can also be used independently of the digital student ID.
All payments processed via UniNow Pay can be linked to digital receipts. These receipts are available to users directly in the app – structured, accessible at any time, and without paper. Universities and student services benefit from less effort for printing receipts, greater transparency, and improved traceability of transactions, e.g. for inquiries, controlling, or tax-related requirements.
