Deutschlandticket for students: Simply use it now in the UniNow app

Since the summer semester 2024, students have benefited from a new, discounted Deutschlandticket for just €29.40 per month. This makes it easier to use local and regional public transport throughout Germany and represents a considerable saving compared to the regular Deutschlandticket. The ticket can be stored digitally directly in the UniNow app, making it easy for students to access and use at any time.

Many universities face the challenge of integrating the Deutschlandticket for students into their existing systems, both technically and organizationally. The use of conventional chip cards is not possible, as a digital solution is required for the Deutschlandticket. Implementation with separate digital tickets would cause additional administrative effort and high costs.
